College and Career Center

My name is Jonah Badiab and I am the new Career Center Specialist at Westfield High School. While these are certainly challenging times for us all, we are committed to continuing to assist students! This includes providing students with career exploration support, access to internship opportunities rooted in their interests, resume and mock interview assistance, applications for work permits, and linking students with all the services MassHire Holyoke provides our customers. I am a graduate of Eastern Connecticut State University, and am very knowledgeable in youth employment and career services!
We have set-up a Google classroom on the platform, and we encourage all WHS students to join.  To join, go to, then hit the "+" button, hit join class, and enter code e7vjqe2.

Through Google classroom, I will be able to interact with you all and provide the above mentioned services, in addition to information regarding financial literacy and other helpful learning tools. I'll be sending tools such as PowerPoints and Google forms through this forum.

Please know that I and MassHire Holyoke, are committed to providing as close as possible, the services you are accustomed to having when physically in school. I look forward to working for you all and empowering you to future success!

Career Center Mission Statement

The mission of Westfield High School's Reed Career Center is to assist all students in planning their future
through a variety of resources, activities, and interventions, which align with the district goals and the state competencies, and benchmarks. Students will develop academic, employability, and social skills that will maximize their future potential upon graduation. The Career Center will provide career, college, and school-to-career activities in conjunction with the Guidance Department, Armed Forces, and Business and Community partners.

1. Serve as consultants of the career center advising and assisting in developing/implementing new and innovative programs for students.

2. Work as a team to actively develop stronger linkages between the community and the career center to benefit students and their future careers.

3. Encourage employers to participate in programs.
