The Galaxy will meet after school today in the Library. Any poets who would like to work on poetry contest entries are welcome to join the meeting in the Library. See Ms. Alves in room 230 with any questions or concerns.


WHS Debaters! We have a meeting the Wednesday after vacation, Feb. 27th after school in Ms. Alves room 230. This will give you a chance to strategize before our next meet on March 2nd at WHS. See Ms. Alves with any questions.


Reminder! All students traveling with Global Glimpse this summer: Our workshop will be held after school today in Ms. Desmond’s room 327.


Westfield High School is hosting a children’s book drive to help celebrate Dr. Seuss’ Birthday. Please bring in your gently used children’s books to donate to students at Franklin Ave. Elementary school. Any student donating books will be entered in a raffle for gift cards. Please bring your books to Mrs. LeClair in rm. 225 or your ELA teacher by March 4th.


The Sophomore class is playing Cupid! Come buy a chocolate rose during all 3 lunches today, for that special someone.


 Students & Staff: This Friday, Feb. 15th, bring your bag lunch to the Book Break Café at the back of the Library and enjoy the sounds of the WHS Jazz Combo & Show Choir! Sign up in the Library!


 STUDENTS! Are you interested in poetry and having it published? Two Poetry contests are up for grabs! Students all over the nation are given the opportunity to have their work published. There are many prizes such as tablets and gift cards. But hurry! One contest deadline is February 15th.  Another is on April 30th.You can get more information and entry forms from Ms. Alves in room 230.  Stop by her room any time.


Students traveling to Denmark in April should stop by Ms. Alve’s room ASAP.




 Intramural Volleyball is free for students and faculty.  It will take place Wednesday, Feb. 27th thru Tuesday, March 5th.  Paperwork can be found in the gym or with Ms. Parker.


The Boys’ volleyball informational meeting will be held today, Feb. 14th at 2:00pm in Room 117.
